Founded in 2012 as TearsSwitch, we began by bringing entertainment into the business
world through our first SAMURAI BATTLE / Chanbara Battle event, steadily expanding our
organization and content lineup.
Since becoming IKUSA, Inc. in 2018, we have continued to grow our brand with large-
scale events, sports festivals, and play-based disaster-prevention programs.

After joining KEYENCE Corporation in 2005, our founder went independent
in 2012, launching digital marketing services and the real-world battle
entertainment Chanbara Team Battle.
In 2018, the company was renamed IKUSA, Inc. and repositioned as a
business solution company built around play, with headquarters relocated]
to Tokyo.
Since entering the disaster-prevention field in 2019, IKUSA has gained
international recognition, including selection for BOSAI STARTUPS in JAPAN
and a Good Design Award for the Play-Based Disaster Prevention Project.
With over 60 services and 1,000+ events annually, IKUSA delivers team-
building and regional revitalization solutions as a full-service play
company.
